My name is Tim Bowman and I’m a primary school teacher in Melbourne, Australia and I like you to help me inspire my students and change the world.
I’m attempting to show my 11year old students how a message can be spread around the world, especially a positive one.
I’ve used the story of “Quacker the Duck” (http://youtu.be/7Q4H964E6wQ), a bedtime story I created for my daughter. The message is, “Ignore the neysayers, and have a go! You have no idea of the potential and power that lies within you”.
If you could WATCH and SHARE you will show my students they can reach the world. You will be teaching them that they can shape the world they live in.
As for Quacker…
What are your dreams?
Stop listening to the “ducks on the shore”.
Jump in. Kick your feet. Flap your wings.
I love your book trailers. I am hoping to have my students start making trailers but I am finding that I can’t get your trailers to view on ipads. The Youtube versions we can’t play because our district blocks it but I thought the schooltube ones should work but can’t get them to play. Any suggestions? I would like to have students scan a QR code and then view the trailer on the iPad.
It was very exciting to read about your African adventure!
I am very puzzled why school tube videos won’t plan on your iPads. I know a few I have are YouTube, but mostly they are ST. Is the website also blocked? Do you get an error message? I’ve been able to play them on mine, so it’s a mystery.
Using QR codes makes it so easy to view trailers. I hope it works out for you.
Have your students made any yet? iMovie sure makes the process simple!
