A Flight Back to Australia

After a couple weeks visiting the Bulldog Readers in Washington, the Coffs Harbour Flat Stanleys left for their trip back home to Australia!

The Flat Stanleys went shopping, had lunch at restaurants, played at baseball games, watched track meets and one even visited a bank!

We had fun hosting the Flat Stanleys and hope they have a great trip home!

We included a Vegemite sandwich and milk, so they wouldn’t get hungry!

We mailed the Flat Stanleys on June 4th.

How long do you think it will take them to arrive in Australia?

  1. Dear Mrs Hembree,

Your Flat Stanleys for what I have read seem to have had a wonderful time visiting your state with your wonderful Bulldog students

They sure did get up to lots of wonderful activties.
So nice to hear that you gave them a veg sandwich and milk for their flight back home.

Hopefully the trip will only take three weeks.
Lets home it is a nice flight back home too. 🙂

    From your blogging pal,
    AA.

  2. Hey there Bell Bulldog Readers!

We’ve recently exchanged Flat Stanleys with an international school in Singapore! They received ours, but we think our Stanleys are taking the scenic route! We still haven’t received them, even though we know they’ve been sent! We’re just so excited to get them!

We’re also exchanging Stanleys with schools in England and Canada.

We hope your Stanleys got up to on their holidays! Looking forward to hearing about their adventures!

    Best wishes,
    Miss Goodey
    🙂

  3. It is June 10th today and Flat Stanleys still haven’t arrived home. It is a long weekend in Australia this weekend.
We are celebrating the Queen Elizabeth’s birthday. It is really strange because it isn’t really her birthday but it is Prince Phillip’s birthday.
Anyway there will be no mail now till Tuesday so I’ll let you know what happens. I’m so pleased you packed them with something to eat and drink. Thank you. You are so thoughtful. Mrs Howlin
