  1. Dear Mrs. Hembree,

    ☼ ☼ ☼ Congratulations on your 10,000 visitors! ☼ ☼ ☼

I ♥ how you featured your visitors using books! While it true that the Internet is open 24 hours and has a wealth of information, I still ♥ books!

I live in Los Angeles, California. L.A. is the second largest city in the United States after New York City. The population is 3.8 million people! I look forward to learning more about your visitors!

    I always enjoy your blog!

    Your friend,
    Mrs. Y♥llis

  2. Dear Mrs Hembree,

    Awesome post.

Congratulations on your achivement to 10,000 visitors.

My goal is to reach 1000 comments on my blog.

I just love how you got the books and put them on a table.

No I have not travled to any of these places.

Yes I am a visitor from Australia.

    From your pal,
    Bianca.

    • BB,
I think it’s terrific that you have set a goal of 1,000 comments. We are no where near that yet. We get lots of visitors, but I am still working on getting comments.
Do you have any ideas for me?
I have been to some of the countries in our post display – Canada, England, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy. However, I have never been to Australia. I think I would like it there. I want to see the Sydney Opera House and visit that huge rock!
I will have to start saving my extra pennies for that trip!
      From,
      Mrs. Hembree

  3. Brilliant…10,000 visitors!
I notice that we have quite a few of the books you have shown. I really notice our postcard!
I actually think we are getting to know more by being able to visit great blogs like yours. I agree with Mrs Yollis, I always enjoy what you do.

Here the temperature is about 14c and sunny, we think this is warm and t-shirt weather!

I have been to many countries in Europe, but only New York City in the States … has to be said I like it.

Have any of the children been to UK?

    Best wishes chaps

    Mr E

    • Dear Mr. E,
Thank you for commenting on our blog again! I love watching your videos. Unfortunately most of them get blocked at school because the district computer filters don’t allow the children to watch Photopeach directly.
I voted for Fenwick and Mrs. Robertson at my school will be so thrilled her suggestion is still in the running!
Many of the books in our photos were originally printed in the UK. The Letters From Around the World has an American publisher, but has an original UK publisher. I like them a lot!
You asked if any of our students have ever been to the UK. Yes, quite a few because we have lots of children from all over the world. I have been to England also, however, not quite as far north as where you are. I have been to London a few times and spent a lot of time near Dover.
      Keep Blogging!
      Mrs. Hembree

Like, Mrs Yollis mentioned in her comment I too loved the way you placed your books from all the different visitors you have had. It really did paint a lovely picture.

  6. Dear Mrs. Hembree,

Congratulations on 10,000 visitors! That’s amazing. It’s well deserved. You have such an amazing blog and I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of those 10,000 visitors.

  7. Congratulations on 10,000 visitors to your Library blog Mrs Hembree! Isn’t it exciting to know that people all over the world visit your blog.

I love the creative way you have used books to show the different continents your visitors have come from. We have lots of the same books in our LRC!

I am from Melbourne, Australia and we have lots ot places for you to visit and things to do if you come here one day. It’s the beginning of Autumn here so the weather is starting to cool down and the trees are beginning to change colour. It is also the start of our AFL football season – “footy” is very big in Melbourne!

Your wonderful Library blog is now on our blogroll. We will look forward to reading it

    Miss Y 🙂
