Pete’s Adventure in Australia

Last month Pete the Cat left on a trip to Australia!

He arrived safely and has been having heaps of fun! The word “heaps” is used in Australia when we say “lots”, such as lots of fun. Check him out in the Bird of Paradise plant in BB’s backyard!

BB has been writing about his adventures and I hope you will visit her blog to find out all the details.

Please leave her a comment and let her know you visited. Here is the direct link to her blog.

What do you think Pete should do while he is “down under”

What season is it in Australia now?

Do you think Bird of Paradise plants would grow in Seattle?

  1. Dear Mrs. Hembree,

I love Pete the Cat! I think he should sing a song to BB. I hope he loves BB. I hope she has fun with him.

I was wondering, will you get him back?

    From,
    Em

    • Dear Em,

Pete the Cat is quite the singer and dancer! I think he might be singing the Bird of Paradise song. What should the words be?

Yes, sometime, Pete will come back. Right now, the weather in Seattle is very rainy. Most cats I know hate the rain. I think Pete is like most of them.

I think Pete is enjoying the sun of Australia. I also think he’s enjoying annoying Hack!

  2. Dear Mrs Hembree,

Greetings from down under as you know I am BB’s mum and I am writing to you to let you know Pete the cat is having a MEOW of a time. As a matter of fact we traveled to Melbourne yesterday and Pete came along for the ride.

Pete the cat couldn’t get over just how busy our highways are and how everyone is rushing around at such a speedy pace. I did mention to Pete that cat it is that time of year that everyone does appear to be going at a faster pace than normal. We all had a an awesome time visiting.

Pete the cat is so well manned, I can see why everyone would want Pete the cat to come over for a visit.

He is enjoying the warmth of the sun and as well as the nights too. Hack still isn’t to sure about Pete as I think he is scared of him. Rio is loving Pete the cat and is not frighten of him at all.

Great Post Mrs Hembree! I am pretty sure Pete will be writing you a comment soon.

From a very happy Pete the cat fan,

    AA 🙂

    • Dear AA,

Thank you for taking Pete on a trip to Melbourne! It sounds like he had a great time!

I think the traffic in your area sounds like the traffic here. Very fast and furious!

Don’t let Pete annoy Hack too much.

      Mrs. Hembree

It is Spring in Australia it feels like summer though because it was 30 today.

I don’t think Bird of Paradise Plants could grow in Seattle.
